Just playing my copy of George Scott LP "Find someone to Love', totally forgot there was a version of 'Family Tree' by, and this is where the penny dropped, Jimmy 'Norman' Scott.

So,  writing credits are listed as Jimmy Norman Scott, and the sleeve notes of this LP say he is one of nine, in fact it says the 'eight', from Pinewood, South Carolina.  Produced by Johnny Brantley, who I remember was mentioned as a contact by John Anderson in that great interview at a soul weekender on google.

I can ask google, but I'd prefer to as you lot, I'm assuming they are brothers? if so must have been in a group together before both being solo, be good to find out more.
