Beverley Longmire is/was her married name.  I don't recall reading anything much about her.  There was an article on here that says she left the business to look after her brothers and sisters after her mother died of cancer?

Millions of years ago I read somewhere that she was class mates with Jo Ann Garrett and I can't remember what book !!!

Got to say that while 'Where will you be boy'/'Even the score' are rightly acknowledged as stand-out Chicago soul gems, the flip to her follow-up single 'I simply love him' seems to have been overlooked by comparison.

Can't think why as it's equally as 'one-derful'!
