Jon Winter Posted October 1, 2020 Posted October 1, 2020 Hi, has anyone come across this LP ? It has been listed in the extensive Crazy Cajun discographies that I have found but never comes up for sale . It has been suggested to me that it was never distributed and all copies destroyed ? Can anyone shed any further light on it thanks
El Corol Posted October 2, 2020 Posted October 2, 2020 Discogs shows one sold in August this year but it looks like that’s the only one and no others for sale.
Johndelve Posted October 3, 2020 Posted October 3, 2020 Bloody hell, that is rare. Never heard of it before today and pretty sure it has only appeared on discogs in last few days....
Jon Winter Posted October 3, 2020 Author Posted October 3, 2020 It was listed by Bananna records and I bought it immediately . He reckons it’s been in his back room stock since the late 70’s And had to enter it onto the discogs to list it. Since then I’ve tried to locate any others but there’s not a mention of it apart from a crazy Cajun discography I found and they didn’t have a scan of the artwork only the issue number. Bananna reckons it could have been deleted or destroyed at the time
Johndelve Posted October 3, 2020 Posted October 3, 2020 You did well. I can't see any more of them appearing any time soon. Best John
Concrete Posted October 4, 2020 Posted October 4, 2020 Some of those tracks have appeared on the Crazy Cajun cds Lonesome Train & Playboy Side of Town , and some haven't Just Make a Wish is a snappy dancer and Let Me Grow Old With You has always been a personal favorite.......nice find.
