Ady Potts Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 If I remember correctly, I've only ever seen one copy of Alcon Shades. Is this a very rare record, or am I just looking in the wrong boxes? Seen plenty of Chi-lites though, weird.
Helena Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 Bought Alcon Shades on ebay last summer, got it rather cheap, no one else was bidding on it. Haven't seen another copy for sale since. Really nice crossover if I may say so myself.
Jumpinjoan Posted January 19, 2007 Posted January 19, 2007 Alcon Shades is a cheap 45... got mine for $10 off Craig Moerer. Chilites is harder to get hold of... although far from impossible. Got mine for £60... although have seen it go for anything up to a couple of hundred. One fantastic tune for sure... as is Alcon Shades... here's hoping you find them quickly and cheaply!
Corbett80 Posted January 19, 2007 Posted January 19, 2007 Alcon Shades, great 45 hopefully it will start getting some exposure as its really nice I bought it for £50 too a couple of years ago, used to get played by Vic at Shotgun. Have seen it go for much cheaper on ebay though. Still relatively unknown?? joel
Marc Forrest Posted January 19, 2007 Posted January 19, 2007 Last Chi-Lites was JM`s auction 255 UKP (WD). Try Andy Dyson, I am sure he has one at the moment... Marc
