pikeys dog Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 are you sliding the blue bar down on the right hand of the screen? (and the one withing the auction box?)
Guest Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 (edited) are you sliding the blue bar down on the right hand of the screen? (and the one withing the auction box?) I'll try again and tell you OK I tried but still not aving it. All the details flash up for a split second only to be covered up by a brown box with "you didn't win so piss off" in it. So I'm still in the dark Edited January 17, 2007 by Guest

SteveM Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 Only by the locals A mate of mines wife is a teacher in one of the less salubrious areas of Toytown (I know, it could be anywhere ) and , she swears this is true, a kid in her class (12 year olds) had the word FNDJ in one of his books. Puzzled, she asked him what it was and he said "furniture" and looked at her like the dingle that she is !
Pete Burton Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 Same here, think it's to do with what browser you use. Definitely not just cos we're girls. Oh no It only works if you use a browser like Mozilla Firefox. It doesn't work with MS Explorer. Hope that helps.

Ady Croasdell Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 Perhaps one of you nice people, who know which end of a computer to use, could put up the final prices every week under "This Week's Manships" or something. It would be interesting reading for us backward types.
Guest in town Mikey Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 I reckon he was thinking....... You must be out of your brilliant mind. Hat, coat, gone.

Mark W Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 Johnny Rogers 2590 Mel Williams 1963 Anything else? I could weep reading that  I sold my Mel Williams, a mint minus rarer demo, on ebay about 18 months ago, only got 3 bids and it went for £350 ish. I regretted it afterwards and was dissapointed with the price, not as much as I'm fucking dissapointed now Just goes to show, some you win blah, blah.........
Greg Belson Posted January 19, 2007 Posted January 19, 2007 Rev. O.C. Tolbert and the Blues Congregation - You Gotta Hold On Me c/w Hard Times - Rolyat Productions £312 It seems to be the norm for this these days, even for this the second press. First press had mis-spelt 'Rolyak' as the label - anybody seen one of those for sale recently?
Guest Posted January 19, 2007 Posted January 19, 2007 Mel Williams was the very first copy I've ever had and I wish I'd added it to my collection..because it's crackin' proper Northern soul..still the DJ who won it I'm sure will treat you all to it whilst DJing this weekend.. and I have requested it comes back home if you ever gets tired of it. "£350-ish" for a genuinely and seriously rare fabulous piece of music does seem a little on the cheap side..someone got a bargain.

I got out bid on that, and wish I'd gone higher. I think the one on Johns auction was mental though. Edited January 19, 2007 by quinvy
