Popular Post Greedy Posted June 8, 2020 Popular Post Posted June 8, 2020 Just read this. Very sad as the pointer sisters send him back was the 3rd northern record I bought at the age of 12. 3 1
Michael V Posted June 8, 2020 Posted June 8, 2020 More sad news.. RIP Bonnie. 'Send Him Back' will always remain a classic- the many times those pizzicato strings (that play that great catchy riff) on the intro have heralded a stampede onto the dance floor ! (with me amongst the dancers, and I'm sure many, many others on this site) Not sure if Bonnie knew of it's popularity but I hope the surviving Pointer Sisters are aware how much joy and pleasure 'Send Him Back' has given us in the UK.
Tomangoes Posted June 8, 2020 Posted June 8, 2020 RIP Bonnie. Loved this album and your take on this track. Appropriate to you. Ed 1

Davlee Posted June 9, 2020 Posted June 9, 2020 Gutted to wake up to this news. 'Send him back' is still a top track and always take me back to Notts Palais.
