I don't even know if it was released Wendy, I like the early Wailers pre-68, and have most of their stuff, this was on a cd of Peter Tosh lead vocal numbers and I think it's unreleased. You are almost spot on about the Kinks though. "Peter liked the sound of the small rock & roll bands who spearheaded the British invasion of the mid-60's" Can't You See, with it's straight ahead drum beat, reminds the ear of Charlie Watts and the Rolling Stones" (sleeve note)

pete - do you know if there's more british guitar pop tried by reggae types in the mid 60s? i cant find that peter tosh cd but this was my fav tune off it.... shoulda been on the nuggests boxset :)
