Just looking for some info on Carol Woods & The Executives - Heart Breaker - PERFECTO 7.

When, where and who played this? Semi-known or well known? Anyone playing it currently? Was it ever covered up etc?

Many thanks

It was covered up as Carol Anderson, Heartbreaking Truth.

I first heard it on the first anniversary Dome casette, but not sure who spun it there.

Don't think it's well known as any time I've spun it people have asked what it was.

Great tune IMHO

Thanks Andy (and yes it is great tune). So, fairly recent discovery and still relatively unknown.

Anyone else got any info?

Greg had it covered up from about 95. Ian Levine may have spun it at The Mecca. Nice!

Went for around £200 last night on Ebay. Not sure if it got spun at Mecca. Wasn't she one of Levine's artists at the time along with Pennington etc. Or was that Doris Woods. Who did that "Im in Wonderland" or something similar.

Its actually a very rare record, another one where oscurity and rarity has held it back. Carl Fortnum spun it a few years ago. I've spun it recently and have a lot of faith in it. I think its a future winner. Oh and check out the flip.

Thanks Andy (and Stuart T) for the info.

Figured was pretty rare - think you're right to have faith in it mate it's a cracking record.

Was a bargain that - thought it was worth more in the region of £400
