Guest Posted December 10, 2004 Posted December 10, 2004 The Supremes 1964 release on Motown "Your Heart Belongs To Me" can anyone clarify whether it is Florence Ballard on lead(I think it is!) or ,as i have read from an American Music Journo that it is Diana Ross.
Chalky Posted December 24, 2004 Posted December 24, 2004 The Supremes 1964 release on Motown "Your Heart Belongs To Me" can anyone clarify whether it is Florence Ballard on lead(I think it is!) or ,as i have read from an American Music Journo that it is Diana Ross. link Think it's Flo too Brett. Not Diana Ross. Flo did take the lead on the early stuff, I've this as a May '62 release (recorded Dec '61) and included on the LP Meet The Supremes Dec '62.
Guest Posted December 24, 2004 Posted December 24, 2004 I'm certain on the label it states 1964 (will check when i've a bit of time)
Steve Edgar Posted December 31, 2004 Posted December 31, 2004 I'm certain on the label it states 1964 (will check when i've a bit of time) link Its Deffo Diana on lead IMO Brett... which like nearly all Supremes is a pity IMHO. Chalky's right bout release date! flip ov "He's Seventeen" M-1027 (its got a delta No. ov 43344 so that fits). Only disc I kno with Flo on lead is their ace version ov "Buttered Popcorn". Talkin bout Flo! cant stop playin her ABC outing "Love Aint Love" at the mo.... Steve
