Guest WPaulVanDyk Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 Well what is the best quote you can ever hear. I am sure some think your quotes are bad compared to others but this all i can think of for now People who think they know what good music is cannot be right, until they have listend to Northern soul. It's not a music genre, It is the greatest music genre ever to be made and will continue to be for life.
Guest Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 (edited) "This is fuckin' brilliant! It's unknown, have you heard it?" (Kev Murphy & Neil Jones conversation @ 2003) "Listen to this, it's awesome - I bought it blind" "Blind? Shouldn't that be deaf? Who the f*** watches a record?" (Neil Jones and Dave Rivers in the heat of a niter @ 2006) "Who's on next mate?" (Some bastard to me while DJ'ing @ Blackpool Winter Gardens @ 2002) :tomato2: Neil Jones Edited January 14, 2007 by burysoul
Dolly13 Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 This will mean a lot to certain people......... "Hey Butch, is this lass ok?" "Yeah she's fine mate, she knows what she's looking at" "Shit! If she buys all these, I'm looking at a new fuckin' kitchen here!!!" Robbie Grant to Butch - The Orwell - August 2006 - Just prior to a somewhat disappointing transaction! :fool:

Guest markmtfc Posted January 15, 2007 Posted January 15, 2007 Being into soul music, and not going to nighters, is like being religious, but not going to church.
Shsdave Posted January 15, 2007 Posted January 15, 2007 Why don't you just make them up and attribute them to random people like in the Northern Soul Top 500??? Apparently, I love Barbara McNair's You're Gonna Love My Baby to death... LOL That's along the lines of the question I immediately thought of Pete Apparently I'm inclined to be a little upset when listening to the High Keys.................... especially if I've just split up with my Mrs It was actually one of the happiest days of my life ............but how was he to know ?
