Still a fantastic tune & proof yet again of the quality you can get for a pittance ! Always quite liked the a side too, bit of a Fred Hughes haunting type tune. & on that note, I'll Be Gone to Bed, spending too many late nights on here. Edited January 12, 2007 by Bogue

Guest Baz Posted January 16, 2007 Posted January 16, 2007 Well what a bloody nightmare!!! Record arrives today in lovely mint condition and a bargain at a tenner, thought oh i'll try me new portable record player me mate bought for me at TK Max for £15, plugs it in at work and puts Freddie on the turntable, and there is a horrid crackely nois in the background, yep styrene record, so move it on to about half way still the same, though well this portable player is shite sound quality, thought nothing of it, get home tonight and puts the record on my proper deck, same background noise again, leave it to play a bit and it goes then appears again, take the record off and have a close inspection i can see two rings one at the start and one half way through about 8mm wide all the way round look at the needle on the portable deck and its like the tip of a stanley blade, its cut right into my new record and ruined the f**ker, so though oh well its only a tenner get another from John and thats gone up to £25 now, so the record in total has cost me £35 bloody quid all because of some shite portable record deck  suffice to say the f**kin thing is going under my sledge hammer tommorow and posted through the door of TK Mak with an invoice for £50 toss pots
