Jacques Pépino

French pop singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist.

Not that anybody is probably interested in the slightest ... but David Christie is an alias for Jacques Pepino:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Christie_(singer)

... article also claims he used alias Napoleon Jones but according to Discogs Napoleon Jones is a group which is Verified by fact that later releases were Napoleon Jones Feat. David Christie..

I can’t believe this was played.  And Russ says there was no drugs at Wigan! you had to be off yer head to a) play it and b) to dance to it.

No, I'm sure there wasn't. But I remember my late sister's boyfriend use to to spend several months in borstal & prison for breaking into chemists to elevate the suffering of asthmatics & obese in the North West. Evidently, all in vain?
