Blackpoolsoul Posted December 3, 2019 Posted December 3, 2019 Sad story but probably not much known until I searched about him. "Farewell is a lonely sound" (Four Tops) was one of the (if not the most) famous tunes Jack Goga collaborated on with others including "Your Love Is Wonderful" (Temptations) and "You" (Marvin Gaye) to name but a few. He worked with all the top people at Motown and moved with the company to Lose Angeles in 1969 His life came to a shocking end as I discovered today as and I quote "Friends and family said Goga--who wrote for the Four Tops and Marvin Gaye--had become emotionally unstable after a 1992 divorce." , https://www.latimes.com/archives/la-xpm-1996-03-28-me-52168-story.html
The Yank Posted December 3, 2019 Posted December 3, 2019 (edited) Sad to hear his life took such a left turn. Jack also contributed to one of Martha's best 70's efforts - Edited December 3, 2019 by The Yank
