Guest WPaulVanDyk Posted January 6, 2007 Posted January 6, 2007 Was there a song called Let Our Love Grow Stronger if so who by. i searched a little on net and can't seem to find it. one of the DJ's told me about it when i asked for a song liked but didn't know title. i think he got it mixed up. i am doing my nut over this song but all i know is there are lyrics love's come on strong and because i love you - it's a modern soul track and believe by someone called tony or toni but no idea on last name i thought stockwell but is there a tony stockwell. i guess maybe i wait and see if Dave Forrest plays track again at some night and i get the title and song

Simon T Posted January 6, 2007 Posted January 6, 2007 'Love don't come no stronger' by Jeff Perry, also by Craig Woolard?
Guest WPaulVanDyk Posted January 7, 2007 Posted January 7, 2007 oh my god this is it. Jeff Perry. i have heard the song now and it's the right one. all i need now is a copy. that's so good i think it might take over Jackie Wilson - Open the Door To Your Heart as my all time fav Northern Soul track. Craig's version ain't as good as Jeff but there was another version i am sure apart from 2 listed i may be wrong but i am sure. but still Jeff Perry beats any other.
Guest WPaulVanDyk Posted January 7, 2007 Posted January 7, 2007 i have found (not heard yet) a version with same title by Martha Reeves released on 12" and again Tony Stone on 12"
bri pinch Posted January 7, 2007 Posted January 7, 2007 THE VERSION DAVE FORREST PLAYED... LOVE DON'T COME NO STRONGER..WAS TONY STONE'S VERSION ( I THINK) IT'S AN IDENTICAL RETREAD OF THE JEF PERRY CLASSIC. BEST BRI.
