Soulboyrecords Posted October 15, 2019 Posted October 15, 2019 (edited) Not my cup of tea at all, but curious about this - I came across a copy, can't find any info on it ... was it a first release withdrawn and then released on Yellow Spark ? Something else ? There is an 'info wilderness' on the web on it... flip is It's all in my imagination... Edited October 15, 2019 by SoulBoyRecords piccy added
The Tempest Posted October 15, 2019 Posted October 15, 2019 That’s the original 1970 issue also came out on the yellow promo , the other Spark Northern Soul releases were mid 70’s
Michael V Posted October 15, 2019 Posted October 15, 2019 Yes, this was the first issue in 1970 -it was reissued in 1975/6 in Sparks' 'Northern Soul' series, along with Gene Latters' Sign On The Dotted Line . Val made a couple of 45's in the mid-60's on Piccadilly inc. quite nice covers of Patti & The Emblems' Mixed Up Shook Up Girl and Ike & Tina's I Can't Believe What You Say and toured with The Kinks at the time
