Bought it a few years later and it still has pride of place. My best buy this week is Edward Hamilton - My Darlin Baby on Mary Jane. Happy New Year, John. Edited January 5, 2007 by John Alden

Guest Johnny Mack Posted January 6, 2007 Posted January 6, 2007 Not arrived yet but I was astonished at the ease with which I won these 3 beauties off ebay: harrison brothers - run for your life - bobalou - not had a sniff of one of these since I sold it back in 2000 impacts - jerkin' in your seat - counsel - never had this entertainers iv - getting back into circulation - dore - almost forgotten nowadays, this has the same backing as bobby sheen - doctor love ******************************************************************************* Harrison Bros/Music minus two is a very under-rated tune in my opinion. Great - best of all the versions. First got one of these from John Manship at Cleethorpes.Think Dicky from Manchester still has my old copy. Put one back in the collection last year from a guy in Japan at what I thought was a steal of a price. Rarer than a lot of people think. Well 2007 has started off pretty good for Johnny Mack, amongst a host of others : Jades - Love I love You - Imperial DJ Jr Walker - Good Rockin - Harvey DJ Norman Brown - Everybody Likes it - SoundTown Chaumonts - When U Love - Bay Sound Spyder Turner LP for $3.99 !!! Terra Shirma majik !! Sunny & Sunliners - If I Could - RPR Happy searching folks
Guest Matt Male Posted January 6, 2007 Posted January 6, 2007 (edited) Like Pete, I'm waiting for a couple of things, and I'm amazed how cheap they were, especially as I had been searching for one for a few months. Over Christmas was a good time to buy, i picked up about ten or so 45s over a week or so off ebay (not many by some people's standards) but favourites were: Carol Fran - Any day love walks in - Port Masters of Soul - Sad face - Ovide (well i like it ) Maxine Brown - Put yourself in my place - Wand (the best of the slow ones imo) also The Gems - Can't you take a hint, which i haven't heard for twenty years but keeps running through my head from time to time.
