I don't know who wrote the lyrics but I believe the original tune was by Hugh

Though my all-time fave by them has to be "Love Or Let Me Be Lonely" (UK RCA, 1970) - a timeless and brilliant Skip Scarborough song which I've never heard the like of - It just never seems to date at all! I also really love "Going In Circles" as mentioned above, a haunting and moody ballad. I think they suffered from a "MOR" tag, rather like Fifth Dimension - but they sound pretty soulful nowadays!
