does anybody knows what to look for when buying 'I'd think it over' by Sam Fletcher on Tollie. A friend of mine is offering his copy for sale and claims it to be an original first pressing...

and it's a white label promo

There are so many confusing stories about what's real and what's fake with this 45 I'd appreciate some advice

MR is scratched into run out groove of both the Belgian (yellow) boot and the French (white) boot. Originals have MR stamped into the run out in a circle.

Is the original and the boot both on styrene :boxing:

The only boot I've ever had/seen up close was the white French one which is on vinyl, not sure about the yellow ones which is why I avioded saying that the boots are on vinyl and not styrene.

The MR (Monarch Recording) inn the run out groove should be stamped within a circle and not scratched in.

If it came out of the Monach pressing plant it's almost certainly on styrene. However, the yellow issue I saw recently, a 'defo original', was on vinyl.

Was this the one with the same label design as Rokk - Patience as opposed to the usual more basic design?

Yeah that's the one (don't see too many of those) and they are originals (think this is why there's often confusion) - the other label designs are on styrene and MR stamped (it's the yellow boot I'm not sure about - although know it is the usual design and not that one).
