2  LaBrenda Ben – Just Be Yourself – Gordy (7021) WDJ M- £80.00 hard to find anyway but a mint demo in company sleeve, superb & such a wonderful atmospheric sparse production mid tempo dancer, brilliant early side SOLD

3  Harry & The Keyavas - If This Is Goodbye b/w Tears – IPG Ex+ / M- £150.00 apart from a very minor surface mark which does not affect play / sound this is mint, loads of calls on the last copy, 2 superb sides, 1st spun in the 80’s on a Thursday night at Hyde Botanical, there’s history for you SOLD

4  Gladys Knight & The Pips – No One Could Love You More – UK Tamla Motown (TMG864) M- £75.00 for a late label number (1971) surprisingly very hard to find, took off in the early 90’s as an LP track at the Wilton, since no US 45 release, a lovely UK copy in company sleeve, seen at £100+ SOLD

5  Hattie Littles – Here You Come – Gordy (7007) M- £50.00 nice vinyl issue in original company sleeve, another superb early sparse production mid tempo girlie dancer that you don’t see in this condition

6  Willy McDougal - Don’t Turn Away – Kinard M- £150.00 2 light scuffs only that don’t affect play otherwise mint, such a fabulous moody gritty mid tempo dancer, old Top Of The World rarity, great dancer SOLD

7  Tommy Neal – Goin’ To A Happening – UK Vocalion 1968 M- £70.00 pristine vinyl & no label damage, probably the best UK copy I’ve Had of this Detroit Wylie / Hestor classic SOLD

8  Preston Peters – Got To Have Peace Of Mind – Markhap (6467) M- £80.00 his hard to find one, raw gritty drivin’ dancer, ex. Stafford biggie SOLD

9  Sunday – Ain’t Got No Problems – Alteen Ex+ / M- £80.00 very light surface marks only, no sound interference plays as mint, mid tempo crossover girlie dancer from Sunday Williams, 1st label copy at a bargain price SOLD

10  Yvonne Vernee – It’s Been A Long Time – SonBert (WDJ) M- £125.00 such a rare item especially in this condition, uptempo dancer, same as Ruby Yates & The Swinging Rocks on Hit productions & just as good, only the 2nd copy I’ve had

11  Gino Washington – Now You’re Lonely – W.I.G. (WDJ) M- £60.00 superb mid tempo Detroit grower that builds & builds, always rated this since my 1st copy off Martin Koppell in the 80’s, far rarer on a mint white demo, distributed by Sidra & Mike Theodore arranged

12  Juanita Williams – Baby Boy – Golden World (GW18) WDJ £50.00 so nice on a demo, knocks spots off Janeen Henry’s version on production alone, issue copies now selling at this price, rarer on a demo SOLD
