Thought there was also a Clarence Jackson release on the label (using one of the backing tracks) - unfortunately I can't seem to access Mr. Rimmer's label listing for Valtone on his website!

There is a different vocal of Determination, by Clarence Jackson, not as strong as Determination though IMO. "If The Shoe Don't Fit", and the instrumental version as well.

The flip of Determination is The One Alone. Two good sides.

Andre Williams "you got it I want it" RicTic uses the same backing as Determination. "Something good in everything bad" sounds to have the same backing as "The one alone".

I guess if you were on a budget buying Andre Williams and "something good..." will save you a bit. Both are great sides.

Being weak and stupid I was persuaded to part with my copy of "The one alone" to a mate many years ago. Ultimately, this is the one to have.

I was very lucky to get an Ex Condition White Demo of "The One Alone/Determination" from Dave Welding for £80 about 6 months ago.

nice one always fair was Pete ,these white demos are there many bout then,I thought their were quite elusive?

I think the Demo's are very rare, I've only ever seen two..........but it's one of those records that is not really top of everyone's wants list........so if you're lucky you can pick it up for a reasonable price.

Be interesting to know just how many of the Demo's are out there though ?

I've got a demo. I'd probably trade for an issue if anyone out there can make it worth my while?
