From the Walden Artists and Promotions / Paragon estate. Contract (reg. # 106780) for an appearance by Eddie Floyd at the Durham Civic Center, Durham, North Carolina. Performance date Christmas Day, 1966. Package consists of original contract outlining fees, deposit, venue details and terms and conditions. Mel and Tim - original performance contract (South Hill, Virginia). From the Walden Artists and Promotions / Paragon estate. Contract (AGVA registration # BC 52235) for an appearance by Mel and Tim at the Colonial Club, South Hill, Virginia. Performance date May 1973. Package consists of original contract and a deposit rider, outlining fees, deposit, venue details and terms and conditions. Both contract and rider signed by the artist. The contract date coincides with their second recording year at Stax, when they were actively releasing 45s. Peggy Scott and Jo Jo Benson - performance contract (Jekyll Island, Georgia). From the Walden Artists and Promotions / Paragon estate. Contract (AGVA registration # BC 33904) for an appearance by Peggy Scott and Jo Jo Benson at Jekyll Island, Georgia. Performance date November 1972. Package consists of original contract, three in-house office carbon copies and four deposit rider copies, outlining fees, deposit, venue details and terms and conditions. Early Blues and Soul Issue 21 (July / August 1969). A twenty-four page issue including articles on the progression of soul music, a Drifters feature highlight and discography, photos of Smokey Robinson and the Miracles, Dave Godin commentaries, adverts of UK soul labels of the day such as Action, Soul City etc. and much more.
