Chalky Posted September 1, 2019 Posted September 1, 2019 Doesn’t look right to me, as said the run out is wider
Moxey25 Posted September 1, 2019 Author Posted September 1, 2019 Run out is about half inch with stamped matrix
luxury soul Posted September 1, 2019 Posted September 1, 2019 Unfortunately, it looks like the boot. As well as the runout, the label is a paler shade of yellow and the text font is bolder. You can find both on Discogs to compare and a quick Google search of Milton Wright Satiron will bring up a previous Soul Source discussion on this topic. Sorry. 1
Garethx Posted September 2, 2019 Posted September 2, 2019 The type has clearly been set using modern publishing software. Catalogue number and matrix number are centred on the right hand side of the label. On the original which would have been set using pre-computer compositing that same alignment is not simply centred. This looks like a carver with homemade labels.
Dave Pinch Posted September 3, 2019 Posted September 3, 2019 Bottom one is proper but the deadwax info is totally different to the boots.. originals are scratched matrix and not machine stamped tho
