Just listening to their 2018 CD 'Half Mile Harvest'. My wife got it for her birthday, she's not sure where she'd heard of them put popped it on her Amazon list.

It's a very good listen, various tracks definitely put you in mind of Southern Soul, including as you say, the lead singer sounding a lot like Otis Redding. Other tracks a bit more country, but all really well put together.

There’s a lot of other great stuff as well coming out of Australia from the  likes of The Bamboos , Cookin’ On 3 Burners,  Deep Street Soul , The Putbacks , Kylie Auldist and DoJo Cuts. All worth checking out imo.

They are on tour in the UK next year Albert Hall Manchester Sun 19th March 2023

Full tour dates https://www.songkick.com/artists/9057929-teskey-brothers/calendar/countries/2-uk

Tickets go on sale tomorrow. Last time the venue was changed from the Gorilla to the Ritz O2 and they were really good.

Was good revisiting the Ritz and hadn't been there since Richard Searling's 50th with the Originals performing.
