There was a thread a while ago about alternative versions, saying that the unreleased version of Sam Fletcher was very "white" sounding

J.B. asks that you "think over twice"..................

Attached recent picture of the co writer and singer, JB Willingham.

What ever it is, it is IMHO a very poor version.  If it was a tenner I doubt very much it would be played at all.

Probably, true of a lot of one-offs, studio cuts, u/r tape stuff, etc

(I'll not bother with a sound clip now thumbsup.gif )

Agree lots of stuff that are rare, unissued etc are op0nly played because of that reason and not for the quality.

Post the clip tho'. Will have another listen thumbsup.gif

Unfortunately, the acetate seems to be pitched too high, but it's nice to hear things straight from the horse's mouth - maybe gives an insight into the feelings of the writer when he/ she wrote it, by how they sing it?

just me or does the pitch change thru clip?

doesn't make the grade via pc speakers

but did sound good out to me

just re-reading above and doing bit idle wondering about the whole "sounds good out" thing

along lines of does the where and how first hear a sound affect how you take it in ?

It sounds like Andy Williams - not as much as Reggie Alexander does, but still a bit like him.  Utter rubbish.
