Another one I'd like to add is Prince Phillip Mitchell - In Her Own Way on Inchiban. It's the flip of You're Gonna Come Back To Love

Don't know if it's ever seen any dance floor action but IMHO would go down a storm if it did

Really easy once you've got the hang of it.

Just hit the new clip button at the bottom of the page & put the song title & artist in the boxes provided then hit browse & find the song on your pc then hit upload & it then tells you how long it's gonna take. Thats it really.

Any more problems just let me or another mod know & we'll help you out.

Just wondering what tunes you've got in your box that you'd like to recommend to other Soul Sourcers.

You might be a DJ with that tasty unplayed, unknown, hardly played or semi-known stuck in the back of your box that you'd love to play... but haven't yet got around to it.

You might be a collector, sitting on a tune that you know, if it got into the right hands, could become massive in the next 12 months.

So come on. Look at your box and let's have your top tip (or tips) for 2007.

Oh... and a Happy (and Soulful) New Year to all!

Sean Hampsey

Bizarre! I responded to this between Xmas and New Year but my reply seems to have vanished!!

For what it's worth, the 45's I'm trying to include, wherever poss, that I hope to see some deserved recognition in 2007 are (and this may be a bit of a mad mix but it depends where I'm playing)........

Montclairs - Unwanted Love

Continental Showstoppers - Not Too Young

Bloodstone - Just wanna get the feel of it

Chuck Bridges - Don't you make me cry

Little Jewell - I want to (overdue re-activation, certainly in the N.West)

Plus one or two I'm playing under pseudonyms until I get pulled up and told what they are!!!! shades.gif

Great idea for a thread - I just wish my original post had survived Xmas, it was much better that this version.

Hi Jo

Got this along with a boat load of other obscure soul 45's for $30.00 wrongly listed on Ebay US in the Classical music section for some strange reason last year. Took a gamble off the photo and bingo.

Another wonderful release on this label is Baby come back by Don Ray Sampson.

Wow, Craig - that was a right result....don't you just love the incorrect listings  If you've got a sound clip of the Don Ray, I'd love to hear it - does anyone have an 'E' discography? Was it part of a larger label? I don't think I've seen anything other than the Contessas...Jo

Yes Jo that is almost certainally The Contessas on backing.

The Don Ray Sampson is at the top of my wants lists at the moment.

One came up on here in Sales a couple of weeks ago at £25.00 and sold faster than a Vicky Entwhistle DVD on Ebay.
