Veedub Posted July 11, 2019 Posted July 11, 2019 The way he handles the records ! fingers all over them ! 2
Tomangoes Posted July 11, 2019 Posted July 11, 2019 Not a bad DJ back in the day. Nearly as famous as pork pies in his neck of the woods. Bigs up every auction record....Mr 10% shines through:) Ed
Frankie Crocker Posted July 11, 2019 Posted July 11, 2019 (edited) A nice little jaunt down memory lane. Only a few US originals worth having today, but that’s how it was back then. The sound was always more important than the record, and providing the format was small, black and round, nobody cared. Now what I’d really like to see would be a Wigan Casino time capsule... Guest Shufflin Posted July 11, 2019 Posted July 11, 2019 enjoyed the video after a crap day stuck on very late trains to and from Bristol, interesting look into the sounds of that era hope he keeps doing these and yes I know it's an auction marketing thing but so what A Wigan capsule would depend on the years chosen haha personally I'd like to see Cleethorpes/Highland room time capsules

For all the talk of the scene being so mainstream now. 99.9% of people wouldn't know him and in a fairly strong soulies area like Leicester a very large proportion of the people are still not sure what northern is.
Tomangoes Posted July 12, 2019 Posted July 12, 2019 It was a tongue in cheek comment... I doubt the ' man in the street's or Plumber Joe, would recognise anybody from the NS scene, never mind djs or record dealers. That's the way ...aha..aha...We like it:) Ed 1
