Just checked Discogs and there isn't one for £200, there are loads of copies for sale and sadly I suspect this record will get lost in history and will always be a cheap record to buy in the long run

Yep like that. 

I check them all that put on there under Soul/funk/disco/jazz as I’m sure whoever categorises the tracks is a no nothing about music 16 year old 🤣

More like will pick up on it in a couple of years time and then all go bonkers for it 😮

Can remember in the early 80s Terry Jones saying about me always looking back and missing good new stuff 🤔 🤣

The singer is Amanda Joy. The band are out of Atlanta.  I think this came out in the first part of the year. Quite possibly a sleeping track ready to blossom. bandcamp has copies of the 45.

stunning new album imo, very rarely buy digital only but this is very good indeed - needs a vinyl release - serious name checks below 🙂

Finally managed to track down a bit more background to this hard to find 2019 45 release . Apparently this Rnb version of Steely Dans original was commissioned for US tv series ‘Suits’ but never used . Eli’s record company Yep Roc , then licensed it exclusively to Fine Wine Records and became their first release as a ltd edition of 300 . No distribution deal or available retail,  just being sold at selected Dj gigs in US. Sadly not even on YouTube otherwise would have posted . It’s fabulous imo.
