Just looking for something in the 'Sounds' section and realised that a lot of tracks that have had big hits are the ones that are easily accessable through a file posted with a direct link on a message. Some of them are fairly obvious tracks that I would think are known to most on the site. Does that mean people dont bother to look in 'Sounds' in general?

Not me,i dont how many hits is big hits?,i know i dont get nearly as many as i used too,with the old system,but i aint that bothered.

And i have noticed some of the new ones,are things i have had up for ages,and they have more hits allready

I rarely look in sounds. Nearly always I click on a sound that is part of a post. I must say there have been some wonderful uploads recently. The male vocal uploads a few weeks ago was brilliant, as was the Okeh session.

There used to be a little section on the front page of the last five uploads, maybe if that was reintroduced it might help?

What's happened to all the six packs, loads missing?

Theres some great stuff up in 'sounds' but a lot aren't getting heard i reckon.

know said it before but it is a work in progress sort of thing

and it has to follow a sorta logical order when time allows

and hopefully above things - exposure and transfer content will be sorted as approaches a final state

exposure wise have to say though bit suprised the cut and paste thing doesnt get used much

as any member can in 5 secs post any clip allready up

not only in forum post like sales, plays etc but in other features like news, events, blogs, siggys etc etc

anyway some more recent improvements are

1. when browsing the clips info page now opens up without page refresh

ie hit icon and can see where was posted, any info posted etc

(this will be expanded info wise)

2. vote/rating - same as above now one click, no fuss, no brainer thing

current effort is on track info section and player

then be looking at content sort and better exposure

oh yeah the members profile now features the last clip posted by member - under the refosoul tab

move this to site stuff when drops off
