Guest Lady Maverick Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 I am just curious...were there any soul acts on this label? On another forum, someone mentioned (after I mentioned about Barbera's passing earlier this month) there was a record label. Any help is MUCH appreciated.

Guest TONY ROUNCE Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 Did, Josey and Pussycats.go out on this lable? Kev. No, the Josie and the Pussycats records were on Capitol - HBR had folded their record label by the time that the J & the P's cartoon was first screened. The LP is a hunderd dollars plus item - at least, it is everytime I don't win it on eBay! TONE

Pomonkey Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 HBR 471 Bobby Loveless - Baby No More is great if a little insane, uptempo boogaloo soul with a breakdown halfway through that I swear includes the drummer using saucepans as an instrument!

Guest mrs norman maine Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 Its Worth Anything - earl gaines - hanna barbera 481 13479 refosoul Was this ever played out anywhere? I've always thought of it as a 'tape' sound & don't recall hearing it out, but I may be wrong.
Guest Fatius Bumius Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 Here's one from my box - Porter Jordan - Nobody's Boy. HBR 505. Actual 45 plays slightly faster than the clip, not a lot, it gets slowed down to suit the belgium popcorn scene and this slowed down version is all I have on my pc Jordan_Porter___Nobodys_Boy.mp3
