The Ted Jarrett autobiography "You Can Make It If You Try" written with Ruth White.

Along with Bob Holmes, Ted was one of the key figures responsible for the development of R&B / soul in Nashville through the 50s and 60s and beyond. In this autobiography he discusses Poncello, Hit and Ref-o-Ree and Excello Records, and artists from Christine Kittrell to Freddie North and Herbert Hunter.
