Great UK songwriter Les Reed has sadly passed away. He was 83.

He was involved in writing some of the great 60's hits for many stars. "It's Not Unusual" for Tom Jones etc.  He also co-wrote "Leave A Little Love" for LuLu, which is one of LuLu's best records. This was brilliantly covered in the USA by Patti Austin on Coral.

Yes, leeds, leeds,Leeds better known as " marching on together"  was the flip side to leeds United 1972 FA cup final song.

Importantly he and his writing partner, Geoff Stephens specifically wrote It's a sad thing for Ray Pollard.
