Popular Post Scotters Posted April 9, 2019 Popular Post Posted April 9, 2019 Great weekend as always and sorry I missed most of what you played Carl...brilliant records. As you know I was next door in The Jim Wray Lounge the same time, sending a few people to sleep with some slower sides! Some wonderful soul played in both rooms over the weekend and a privilege to meet, chat, listen, even a dance with the lovely Bernadette Bascom!..Well done again Pat, arranging for Bernadette to come over and for the new single, + others being released soon! Anyway here's my hours worth of slower 45s and hopefully some of the other collectors and DJs will also add a play list or two from the weekend. Cheers. Durand Jones & The Indications - True love (Colemine) Durand Jones & The Indications - Cruisin' to the park (Colemine) Lee Fields & The Expressions - Will I get off easy (Big Crown) Jett Straker & Guiding Principle - One thing I know (Kimberlite) The Kickin Mustangs - Take a miracle (Plato) Four Mints - You're my desire (Capsoul) James Weeks and The Fabulous Inspirations - Maybe tomorrow (Goodtime) Alex Brown - Something (Sundi) The Desires - I never turn my back (Red Robin) The Natural Resources Unpolluted - Don't bite the hand that feeds you (Dore) Alton Ellis - Love is the answer (Total Sounds) Alton Ellis - I dig you baby (Well Charge) Eric Monty Morris ft Tommy McCook & The Supersonics- Tears in my eyes (Dutchess) The Gospel Sensations of Portsmouth, Virginia - He gives me joy (Pinewood) Violinaires - The upper way (Jewel) Delegation - Mr. Heartbreak (Shady Brook) The Fabulous Malibus - My love (Unity) The Love Experience - Waiting for your love (Cherry Red) The Flying Stars of Brooklyn NY - Live on (Colemine)...AKA the brilliant and very current talented writer, producer, drummer and vocalist..
