was this booted ? Had it a good few years and didn't pay much for it, so it's not gonna change my life. Just be nice to know.

There's definitely a blue vinyl one from the 1970's out there. I've got one on a jukebox.

It's definitely not on blue vinyl, so I'm half relieved

Sorry to dispel your half-relief but I think the orange label with black vinyl (which I've got) is also a bootleg.  Not sure what an original issue copy looks like. Have seen lots of white promos but never an issue copy.

I can't find a pic of the issue copy of "Hang On" but, here's the boot copy compared to a regular Tower release -

I am (almost) sure that mine does not have the A nor the Promotional on it, I'll have to check.

Neither was i approx 40 years ago when I bought it. I didn't know or care it was on Tower as well but still glad i have it on Big Bird

Finally got round to checking and it does have the A etc. So, boot it is..can't have paid more than a quid , so like I say not that arsed.. Thanks for the input.
