Eddie Hubbard Posted December 22, 2006 Posted December 22, 2006 Jean Wells- Hello baby-goodbye too/ If youv`e ever loved someone-Eastern Pat Sands and the pebbles- Loving him-Sussex TIA Chris I really like Pat Sands ,Chris same as Delfonics on Philly Groove.Levine reckoned the Pat Sands was very rare when he was on the scene a while back . Think Jean Wells is a good stomper ,Best ,Eddie
grant Posted December 22, 2006 Posted December 22, 2006 I s Jean Wells the same as Gloria Parker version of Hello Baby Goodbye Love? GP is a hell of a stomper!
Steve G Posted December 22, 2006 Posted December 22, 2006 Jean Wells- Hello baby-goodbye too/ If youv`e ever loved someone-Eastern Pat Sands and the pebbles- Loving him-Sussex TIA Chris Pat Sands c £70? Some have turned up over the last few years, but not that many.
AlanB Posted December 23, 2006 Posted December 23, 2006 Pat Sands is great, I highly recommend it. Backing is very like the Delfonics version but the vocal is a bit more punchy. I agree £75 is about right price. It doesn't come up for sale that often but I don't think it can be all that rare. Incidentally on the copies I've seen the vinyl is very thin and prone to warping. Stillsoulin Posted January 2, 2007 Posted January 2, 2007 I have always prefered the Pat Sands to the Delfonics, my copy is on vinyl and certainly isnt thin, flat as a pancake too, bought off John Farrell many moons ago for about 60p rob h.
Chris Anderton Posted January 2, 2007 Author Posted January 2, 2007 £100 QUID. BAZ A. ...................... Baz, Now I`m confused! Is a realistic price 100 quid or do you not know the record!? Two conflicting amswers there mate...unless you are just taking the Manship book price and knocking a third off, a method that has worked well for me over the years! Chris
bro Posted January 2, 2007 Posted January 2, 2007 I s Jean Wells the same as Gloria Parker version of Hello Baby Goodbye Love? GP is a hell of a stomper! yes its the very same ,the gloria parker is the stronger version but the jean wells is the rarer of the two and still a great record
