Jaco Posted December 19, 2006 Author Posted December 19, 2006 Cheers Andy, will listen at home, can't access Real Player at work.
Guest Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 (edited) The wand 45 thought to be wrongly credited and hence rare. silly assumption really, if you think about. The agreed pressing run would have been the pressing run.. you don't destroy records cause someone's name ain't right. Would you? All through the sixties any old name was used by artists desperate for some radio action. EG Jimmy Conwell.. came up with some colourful guises. If it was a hit or got radio play, you would has seen "Walter Wilson" take the stage.. Think of the RARE (seriously rare) correctly credited 45s on the label, Wand is renowned for inexplicable rarities.. Vashons, does have Servicemen over-tones... could well be a member or two..who know..Hadley Murrell could maybe answer that one. Edited December 19, 2006 by john manship

Jaco Posted December 19, 2006 Author Posted December 19, 2006 Love to be there, mate but we're off on a walking holiday this Christmas to Austria - should be a skiing holiday but there's no f**king snow! Hope you have a great night though.
Md Records Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 I think "Walter Wilson" was something to do with, or a member of the "De Lites" on "Cuppy". Des Parker
