Popular Post Soulandy Posted August 26, 2019 Popular Post Posted August 26, 2019 three from a great walk over Crimpiau & Criegiau Gleision on a warm and very quiet Saturday in Snowdonia 1st one is the view down Dyffryn Mymbyr towards the Snowdon Horseshoe from Y Pincin. 2nd is where I'm walking with the view across Llyn y Coryn and the 3rd is the heather clad hills with a view to the big guns of the Ogwen Valley with Snowdon in the background. Photo's don't do the colour of the heather justice and it was a real pain getting through it as it covered a lot of the paths/tracks 7

Mal Depends on which route you take and if you've done anything like it before. I wouldn't say it's "easy" in the sense of the word but some routes are less difficult than others. It's bloody good though This will give you some idea but there is a load more info else where https://www.walkupsnowdon.co.uk/paths-up-snowdon-in-order-of-difficulty/
none Posted August 26, 2019 Posted August 26, 2019 We had the paths . Planned the Quarry route but with dogs not the best idea . Our lass and dogs were attacked on route down by cows that had just been separated from calves . Had to chase eith a stone or few to get them to run to gate and escape. Quite a trip . Some of terrain from Rhy Ddu was anything but easy . Were going to come back via South Ridge but that was an additional hours walk . Memories

Weather changes at different levels . Can always go back on train on Llanberis. If your knackered cold and drenched like we were . Take plenty of water . None available at the top or base

Used to invade it from Widnes acting like missionaries trying to educate the locals. Not many soulies about there as you know, they're mostly biker type's into cock music. Great Indian restaurant. Popular Post Smudger Posted August 31, 2019 Popular Post Posted August 31, 2019 Just got back from our annual 2 weeks in cornwall ,we went for a walk on lands end from Nanjizal bay on the coast path,we stopped for dinner in a quiet spot overlooking the sea only to be confronted by a magical display by the local seals for 2 hours. They were playing in a sheltered pool and it started with just one sunbathing on the rocks but was later joined by at one point six others just enjoying themselves chasing each other and diving to the bottom I only had my small pocket Ricoh waterproof camera so excuse the clarity, here are some of the photos. 9

Popular Post Stevegods Posted August 31, 2019 Popular Post Posted August 31, 2019 Looks really good Smudger .. We do a annual trip to Sennen , camping every year and have done that walk a few times . Lovely mate , good pics . Weather wasn’t as great this year as they had a weather warning of very strong winds and rain and cancelled Boardmasters festival in Newquay . Most of the campers left our site , as did we a bit early and where glad we did . But always a stunning sunset 10
