Just a bit of fun.

imagine you are only allowed to have 2 records.

not necessarily the most valuable, but ones that mean the most to you.

mine are........baby boy-Fred Hughes

                       Im standing-rufus lumley

both bringing back fond memories of the torch and Blackpool Mecca.

still love them now.

A record which means more to me than words can say..the joy and anguish associated with the memories this track brings flooding back to me are truly immense.

Dedicated to my younger brother who sadly passed away in 2010.

Gil Scott Heron is probably the artist I've listened to the most over the past 30 years ..as a teenage Hip Hop fanatic I was listening to artists like Public Enemy and the more political end of the Hip Hop genre.

Then one day out of the blue  someone played me 'The Revolution Will Not Be Televised' and my mind was instantly blown away by this mans music, unbelievable conviction and his beliefs.

I could wax on forever about GSH - a true originator, his influence on Hip Hop and beyond cannot possibly be underestimated in any way whatsoever.

If you haven't seen it Pete and you have SkyTV check out the film 'Black Wax' on Sky Arts, it's wicked and the live concert footage is fantastic!

Mine were Tomangoes, cause she was so sweet, and her body were so awesome, and as it happens it were a nashvillle press, and the Salvadors as it were the Chicago press, but that is a story never to be told!

I can't say too much...

I have a very first issue of What's Going On LP in mint- condition by Marvin Gaye, my favourite LP

If I had to do a deal with the NS devil, then Mello Souls, We Can Make It

Most precious sound? Time Will Pass You By, always has been, always will be

Not the most valuable in money terms but would be the last 2 i ever let go.....

Marvin Gaye - Little Darlin & Doggone - both Mint Uk TMG demos.   (I just look at them whilst playing my US issue copies).

Easy choice this. First is the flip of This Old Heart Of Mine, on Tamla, There's No Love Left - The Isley Brothers

Secondly would have to be I'll Be Doggone - Marvin Gaye

I would place this as a close 3rd choice. The Girl Across The Street - Moses Smith
