Now here's a sound you don't see for sale to often serbastian Williams "too much /home town boy" sounds of soul first came across this in 1979 brought it from Johnathan woodliffe for £15 as a total unknown at the time  played it covered up as Lester Tipton for a few years before selling it to keb. Would be a great tune to revive.  Your thoughts guys

Hi Steve, just sold my copy not long ago, to fund something else. A real juggernaut of a tune.

Hometown boy is the best side for me....rarely heard.

Yes it's a hard decision which is the best side both worthy of airtime at more progressive venues

I used to play Hometown Boy at mod clubs years ago - I sold this and have always deeply regretted it. About a 1000 times rarer than Little Tommy. Love both sides.

Secret Stash hold the licence on Sounds Of Soul and we may possibly do something with the masters, Little Tommy was put out and sold out, I had Sebastian Williams way back and played 'Too Much' but both are top sides, very hard to find 45 as mentioned here.

Me ....I love it...Can remember buying this for the Too Much side and being over the moon when I played the flip and hearing Home town boy, which I knew from a tape I had,but didn’t know what it was called..😄👊

Get it played

£400 in ex condition Steve. 2 x's on label, but a real beauty. Should I be regretting it ? LOL.

Gets plays at Grumpy Soul periodically. I prefer ‘too much’ but have played the flip out too

Tough record to find these days

Definitely hard to find - as my posts on here looking for a copy will testify. Too Much the side for me, and finally got a copy this year after looking for years
