Anybody else out there crap at this student lark?

Had a 3,000 word essay to hand in by 5pm today... didn't start it till yesterday... handed it in with 10 mins to go!

All that's left for me to do now is to prepare the presentation that i'm giving tomorrow at 11.30am... well... at least i'm consistent! rolleyes.gif

Anyway... back to Friday...

No...but just made some extra money typing 4 papers for someone...deja vu indeed! :wicked:

Been asked lots of times if I would give people a sound file of this but can't remember who you all were, so as Xmas is coming here is an edited version of this awesome unreleased track.

I was a boy edited short - arthur prysock - unreleased studio disc

I bought mine for 20p, 34 years ago in a second hand shop in Sunderland......probably all its worth today!!!

Unfortunately for me it has set off my "bloody hell that sounds familiar" alarm. Has this been released by anyone else or is there a tune that uses the same/similar backing/vocals? I'm sure I've heard it somewhere and possibly not in a Northern context. Is it a Burt Bacharach tune?

I dunno Paul, but I know what you mean about sounding like a Bacharach number. It's strange, but I've never noticed the similarity between Mr. Prysock's voice & Terry Callier's.

Just had a quick look at a copy of Herman's Hermits record on US M.G.M. and the writers of the track appear different. This is not unusual in a lot of cases. I have not heard Herman's track, so sorry can't comment.
