It might be a short one but the Dale Warren song ‘what I want’ by the Precisions on Drew and later by Gloria Taylor on Selector Sound, two very different versions of a brilliantly underrated song, now! It’s not a massive sound but it’s an interesting vote on a lesser talked about but brilliant song

To be honest,i didn't know about the female version,darker version nicely done,

I voted the one that I have and I love

ONE version is a gazillion times better than the other which is so bad it's insulting IMO - no prizes for guessing which one I vote for.

Guess who the one person who voted for Gloria Taylor is  it's my favourite version, been after the 7" but never seen one up so have got the LP reissue thing...been playing the Precisions version out again recently though as it's also stunning...but need that Gloria in my life

Wow, pretty one sided vote, I went with Precisions obviously but Gloria’s version I thought just illustrates what a great song it is, that and we love Dale Warren !!! 

Took me a while to get Gloria’s 45 it’s s hard one, but it will turn up if you know what I mean. remember speaking to Bobo (Bob Abrahamian) about it on here, he was genuinely surprised it was considered rare...
