Very tough to find double sider from 1962, in fantastic condition, pristine labels (pictures of the actual record for sale) and vinyl

Of course “One track mind” is a highly respected nighter tune, that intro is hard-to-match and after it you have a perfect example of aggro-soul with a hint of R&B. It grows and grows to lose-yourself and then comes the break, a perfect dancefloor gem which always has a great reaction (when played…as not so many copies around…)

Many will know that, but I want to sing the praises of “I´m surprised”, a delicious early mid-tempo very Sam Cookesque, I would not be surprised if Paul Vann had “Cupid” in his mind when he was singing it. Perfect for rarer-than-rare rooms and anorak chatting, and hey, it´s a dancer!. There is a clip on youtube

Very reluctant sale but a big want has been found and it is forcing me to dramatic steps such as this (bit of a drama I know), sorry but I cannot hold it, first-come-first served
