Need help identifying a song

My brother just called me and asked a question .. What is the song and who sung it.. He said I asked you 10 years ago and you told me but I lost the note of who it was .. I’ve told him I’ve had alot of bumps in the head in the last 10years and the brain cells are fusing together.. so I said I would reach out to Soul Source .. this is my first post.. so hopefully you can help.. below are the lyrics, he says it’s early 70s and a two stepper and a male vocalist
