Interesting that the red one does not state ‘Gents’ on it. Did this one date from before the Northern years at The Casino?

I have two yellow cards in my name and two green cards belonging to the ex. I first had a blue card that I tore in two to let a mate in.

The number of us that had multiple membership cards makes a mockery of the often cited figure issued - 109,000 according to Richard’s recent book.

I remember having half a membership off someone for a while. Possibly lost mine, got washed, who knows.  can't remember.

When I started going at the beginning of 83 you could still join WCSC and get an official membership directly from Winstanley; never did, but I think they were yellow, you could also buy genuine original Casino patches - I have two or three I bought then in my copious collection of 'stuff'. Dx

Out of interest, does number 22 have your name in it? Back in the olden days, I borrowed what I'm sure was number 22 off one of the Ormskirk guys(I even remember who). It was either taken off me or I lost it, he wasn't best pleased.

March 73. Unless the badge is referring to Chris Burtons ill fated Torch revival allnighter at the Village Disco in Stetford. This turned into a crap alldayer in an ultra modern(at the time) chrome and glass disco.

Was that place also called the Hard Rock?  I went to an all alldayer there in March 1975, with a live appearance with Major Lance.
