December 12, 200618 yr If you can add your support for this. Nick Todd the owner of Spillers is a also a massive Northern fan. I have bought tons of stuff from that shop over the years,if any of you have been there you will know what an amazing place it has been. You can still get some great vinyl albums there and he will order in whatever you need. Confirmed it is the WORLDS oldest record shop. Nick has in years gone by done the northern circuit such as wigan etc etc but all of his time recent years has been taken up with the store Simon, can you possibly change your title heading to something like SAVE SPILLERS RECORD SHOP! Regards James

Do you know how to access the petition, or is there another way? It would be a real shame to see Spillers go..

December 12, 200618 yr it would be an absolute shame if Spillers would close the place is a land mark in South Wales i met Nick earlier this year at our June allnighter really nice interesting guy (he's also very good freind of Dave Evison). Another Case of F**king Greedy Developers who couldn't give a shit about anything else apart from the bottom line, can't they see that it's shops like this that give cities and towns around the the country their individuality and character

December 14, 200618 yr it will be a big loss and as told specialist records shops close down which is sad when we know not everyone wants just HMV, Virgin. we long for specialist shops that sell records to be opened in towns
