Elvisluvs Posted October 2, 2018 Posted October 2, 2018 Hi everyone. I am finally about to start selling some records again - just wondering what most folks are paying for a 45 shipped from the states - thanks.ย Ps- I missed the love hereย ย
Mick Holdsworth Posted October 2, 2018 Posted October 2, 2018 A typical parcel from US to UK would be around $14 (that was a thick one - about 30mm - with lots of packing). Can't find on now, but a thinner parcel is a bit less. Sellers generally charge $12 - $15, which lines up with above, plus a little for the package. Cheers Mick 1
Leicester Boy Posted October 2, 2018 Posted October 2, 2018 Just had a record from Cincinnati delivery was ยฃ11 for a single.
The Yank Posted October 2, 2018 Posted October 2, 2018 You can always got to www.usps.com- enter package size and weight and get an exact postage charge.
Steviehay Posted October 2, 2018 Posted October 2, 2018 most of em except the main dealers are way over the odds $22 to 27 for 7 or 12 then it arrives and its knackered and tooooo expensive to send back steer clear unless they are reputed sellersย ย
Elvisluvs Posted October 2, 2018 Author Posted October 2, 2018 Thanks everyone. What time do most folks bid up until on Sunday nights ?ย ย

What time do most folks bid up until on Sunday nights ?ย ย I have always found that this depended on the date. if it is the first sunday of the month or that last sunday just before the end of the month you have a good chance ofย getting more money. Soundsokeh Posted October 2, 2018 Posted October 2, 2018 (edited) I have just ordered 2 records on discogs and the seller quoted $13.50 U.S. for one 45 , but has allowed the same for two 45,s in the same mailer so I agree with the generality of up to$15 U S quoted earlier, but it can also depend on the number of records in the parcel too People here in the UK tend to bid up until aboutย MIDNIGHT to 1 AM GMT or BST at the latest , with weekends being busier for obvious reasons so in the USA thats going to be afternoon or evening due to timezones , so right about now in fact ย ย Edited October 2, 2018 by soundsOKEH

As long as finishing time is before their bedtime (remembering that they have to be up for work on the Monday morning, but also depends on how desperate they are to get their hands on a particular record).
El Corol Posted October 3, 2018 Posted October 3, 2018 Why don't we go the whole hog and give him our pin numbers??
