Hi all - I was hoping some of the very knowledgeable people on this forum maybe able to assist with a question I have in relation to records The Pretenders cut on the Carnival label.
I have owned a copy of "Just Be Yourself" for a while now, but recently managed to also acquire "It's Everything About You". As far as I am aware neither of these records have been booted (there is a reissue of Just Be Yourself), but I noticed some differences between the two records which worried me and I was hoping for confirmation that the copy of It's Everything About You is an original.
Differences are as follows (picture below):
different shades of red between labels;
label text looks clearer on Just Be Yourself;
vinyl itself is noticeably lighter (feels flimsy) on the copy of It's Everything About You; and
"Just Be Yourself" has 'FW10', 'CA1111-RE-1' and something else illegible in the run-out (and has 'Bell Sound' stamped on the other side), whilst "It's Everything About You" just has 'CA-1113'
