Frankie Crocker Posted September 19, 2018 Posted September 19, 2018 Unbelievabubble. A common enough record that has had its day. True it is a BIG sounding tune but not one that is easy to dance to. I don’t own a copy and am not really bothered if I don’t ever get to find one, even at a sensible price. 3
Colnago Posted September 19, 2018 Author Posted September 19, 2018 All my Flabbers were gasted when I saw that , agree with your views on it as a tune too . 1

Corbett80 Posted September 20, 2018 Posted September 20, 2018 F*cking ridiculous - in terms of quality it's never 1800 quids worth of soul - overplayed and boring. 1
Steve S 60 Posted September 20, 2018 Posted September 20, 2018 Faro Productions? For £1800 you can have a week self catering for two in Faro, including flights, plus £1500 spending money. I know which I'd prefer. 3

Guest Posted September 21, 2018 Posted September 21, 2018 Issue is ten times rarer so what would that fetch with the nutters?
Benji Posted September 21, 2018 Posted September 21, 2018 I guess there are two dominating types of Manship auction customers: a) collector, not really affluent but prepared to pay over the top if a long-standing want comes up in the auction. Might be aware of the general increase in price of a record he bidded on after the auction b) collector or wannabe DJ. pretty affluent. Bids whatever it takes to secure a trophy record. Doesn't care about the influence it might have to the market if he pays 5x the current market price.

Multi-millionaire, new to the music, not really on the scene, has a Ferrari and Rolex, likes ultra-mint records, has employed someone to hoover up the best specimens to display in picture frames.
Popular Post Tomangoes Posted September 22, 2018 Popular Post Posted September 22, 2018 Can any 'c' category members contact me to look through my remaining discs please. I have a one off emmy disc of Adams apples and French Fries. Will swop for rolex. Also a genuine signed copy of a pressing of Frank Wilson on Soul. The Ferrari can be used as a direct payment. I can massage your ego all the time we are trading, and may even give you some genuine old beer towels used at Wigan and Cleethorpes etc with sweat still embedded. Ed 4
