When it was released on a Goldmine CD, it did feature a short intro, but to my ears always thought it had been cut short for the CD, the arrangements and take is otherwise identical. Every copy I've had or known of all actually had the long intro.... Anyone?

Definitely one with the short intro 1

Definitely one with the short intro A couple of decades ago, dave withers had a few copies and like chalky said, there were some differences in the intros. 1
Simon T Posted September 4, 2018 Posted September 4, 2018 In this article, it says she remembers doing two takes one with & one without backing singers. The two sound files I have, both have got backing singers. However, one has a slightly longer intro (before vocal), otherwise sounding the same to me. 1
Prophonics 2029 Posted September 4, 2018 Posted September 4, 2018 One long intro has a verse and chorus in different orders either before or after the break. I also thought some copies have a different sound to the voice/reverbe and backing singers. 1
