Zanetti Posted June 19, 2018 Posted June 19, 2018 Hi, I Acquired Some Time Ago 2 Copies Of Him On Venture: Robert Thomas - Bye Bye Baby / True Love Is Hard To Find First We Got A Beautiful Deep Soul Ballad - On The Flip He Went More Funkier. I´m Just Wondering Why There Is A Styrene Issue And A Vinyl Copy!?! Do We Have A First And Second Issue? I Think Most Of The Venture Discs Were Made Of Styrene. Does Anyone Know? Furthermore There Is A difference Between The Lbl-Design e.g. The VinylDisc Does Have A Line Break In: True Love Is Hard To Find The Styrene Issue Goes Straight Like This: True Love Is Hard To Find MatrixDetails STYRENE: V-004109-A ∆ 71362 And A MonarchStamp MatrixDetails VINYL: V-004109- and something like a quadrat! So Would Be Awesome If Someone Could Unearth The Truth And Let Me Know. Personally I Would Say That The Styrene Copy Is The Real One ... But Please Let Me Know Guys Thx In Advance ATB Zanetti
The Yank Posted June 19, 2018 Posted June 19, 2018 I think both copies are legitimate. I've had Venture and Maverick 45's on vinyl and styrene.

Benji Posted June 19, 2018 Posted June 19, 2018 Well, if you had done a bit of research yourself you would have come up with the following: Discogs says: MatrixDetails VINYL: V-004109-A released 1968 Monarch Release Date table says: ∆ 71362 = May 1968 What you have is an east coast and a west coast press. Both legit. Case closed 1
