Big debate the other night???

On the label of Crow records is the crow hanging on a corn plant and what is that in the background?

Close up anyone??

Apart from the Joseph Webster release any other worthwhile 45's on the Crow label.

I know of three

James Havior - Girl, Girl, Girl / Jumpin With Popeye (Instrumental) Crow 39

James Habior - O Baby / I'm Your Puppet (Instrumental) Crow 36

The Exquisites - Just Couldn't Make It /

Any help appreciated.

once had a discussion on way somewhere and it went down road of indian as in native american soul connections, the crow label came up cause of its name and then cause of connections with arrow etc

can remember vaguly connection but if any one got full score/background on that connection

however stretching it even further didnt the group crow record on inner ear so if it is a ear of corn then it must mean....

Mac, the Exquisites did have at least 2 releases on the label.

Andy

really andy , what's the titles ? a pal of mine in u.s has full run on label or least he thought he had ! he's astounded.. had a quick check through my crow stuff difficult to remember cos file my stuff in alphanumerical by artist .. never the less came up with a handfull of alternative bits ie a couple by arthur ponder 1 solo and a duet with female couple of nancy butts a different james haviour... so seems to be a pretty consistant label musically anways. funny my pal who found me j.webster mentioned the first 2 45's he ever found on the logo were j.webster and exquisites a long ,long time ago...
